Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and instructing marketing campaigns for new activities to attract funds and for the promotion of the organisation’s image within approved budgets.
  • Involving in development and implements of Marketing & Fundraising strategy for Organization.
  • Raise revenue to Organization including unrestricted income to cover core costs, build reserves and support conservation work.
  • Organizing and lead a high- performing Individual Fundraising Team to deliver objectives, build capacity and insures succession plans are in place.
  • Working closely with the Communications Manager to deliver brand position and increase brand awareness across target segments through effective marketing communications and channel support.
  • Establish and Manage necessary structures, systems and process to support marketing and fundraising management.
  • Plan and organise the effective communications of all Individual fundraising guidelines to staff.
  • Formulate and implement high-impact and innovative donor and member acquisition campaigns ,as well as implement strategies to increase the retention rate of individual donors.
  • Coordinate with the GM in knowledge sharing and information exchange, and collaboration on regional and network initiatives that will benefit the Country, network, region and the GMPO.
  • Maintaining an effective working relationship with all other CMT members to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisation objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related fields.
  • Experience in Operations and customer service would be an advantage.
  • Digital skill would be an advantage.
  • 6  years  practical  experience  in  marketing  and/or  fundraising  within  the  charity  and/or  private sectors, 3 years of which at the similar position in Vietnam.
  • Good understanding of nature conservation issues and strategies; understanding of Organization’s work in Vietnam and globally.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of communication, marketing and fundraising tools.
  •  Excellent  understanding  of  development  partnerships,  fund-raising,  donor strategies,  functions, governmental and international relations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as are skills in partnership development and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal in Vietnamese and English.
  • Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and tenacious.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment.
